The five-asset water response method
Hotel engineering selects five critical water control points for its own property. For each point, the team records the control area, floor or location, a current photo, location or GPS information and operating steps. A timed scenario then tests whether someone who is not the building expert can find the correct point and begin the appropriate action.
The result is a baseline for time to locate, procedure access, time to first correct action and differences by shift or role. Retest after training or changes to the property.
